About ENGA
We are a start-up based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. We are engaged to valorise waste and bio-based resources through innovative design and manufacturing.

What we do
We create lifestyle accents, furniture, and everyday objects by 3D-printing and clever assembling locally with recycled plastic and bio-based materials.

Why it matters
At ENGA, our mission is to explore ways to use
waste to reduce the environmental impact of products. By repurposing household
and industrial plastic waste, along with agricultural by-products, we embrace
circular economy principles, striving to operate as a closed-loop business.
How we work
We work closely with partners to build a responsible and transparent value chain, producing well-crafted, innovative and aesthetic pieces that prioritise sustainability and minimise ecological footprint.

The People behind ENGA

Gildas Höllmüller
The Captain
I created ENGA to bring my personal knowledge and energy to the most important topic humanity is facing – preserving our living environment in a durable way and making a living out of it.

Clément Schüpbach
The Environment Analyst
I want to contribute my skills and knowledge in a fun and open environment to drive change towards a more conscious and nature-centred way of doing business.

Lisa Nyberg
The Value Driver
For me, it is important that what I do reflects my values and contributes positively to the world around me. Through ENGA, I’m able to create meaningful impact, which makes my work feel purposeful and my life more fulfilling.

Ivo Baldini
The Recycling Master
I want to show the public that waste is not worthless. Recycling is only possible if waste is collected. The products developed by ENGA should make it possible to see and experience why waste is collected. The sustainable use of natural resources is important and should be promoted.

Cédric Höllmüller
The Cycle Opener
My main value driver to engage for ENGA is to contribute to realise circular economy in practice with partners, to bring in and share my knowledge, experience and network, to learn from and with others, for a sustainable future for the generations to come.

Etienne Schüpbach
The Business Focuser
Waste remains one of society's most pressing unsolved challenges. By transforming waste into materials and applications that match the performance of virgin resources, we can be part of the solution while building a compelling business. Contributing to this mission is enormously motivating.
